Why Ride with TPR Events?

Brilliant Routes

 

Using our local cycling knowledge we design, drive, risk assess and test ride every route ourselves. We then meticulously sign eeach route with arrows before, on and after every turn and at least every 2 miles… Meaning each event usually has over 1000 signs!

Value for Money

 

As a not-for-profit organisation we don’t have a share holder or investor to pay so our entry fees are among the lowest prices in the market. All our events are proudly all-inclusive of food and drinks, souvenirs and bespoke medals. We also do not charge a booking fee and we will try to resell or swap your ticket if you can’t make it.

All food and drink at feed stops are included with your entry. Choose from tea, coffee, a selection of squashes, fresh fruit, our famous homemade flapjacks and more! We also cater for dietary requirements, just tell us when booking.

Set beneath Broadland’s wide skies, the Tour de Broads takes you through scenic country roads and charming villages. Enjoy glimpses of the iconic Broads, peaceful riverbanks, and windmills surrounded by reedbeds and birdlife.

With routes of 25, 50, 75, or 100 miles, there’s something for everyone, no matter your experience or bike type. Each route is fully signposted, risk-assessed, and supported by the friendly TPR Events team.

Longer routes include a complimentary lunch, and all riders enjoy free hydration and snack stations. Expect cyclists of all kinds—road bikes, e-bikes, tandems, and more—celebrating Norfolk’s stunning countryside.

TOUR DE BROADS - TPR EVENTS

At TPR Events, we’re dedicated to creating the best routes for riders to enjoy. Every route is carefully plotted, analysed, risk-assessed, tested, and fully signposted, giving you the confidence to ride with peace of mind. Plus, all routes will be available to download as GPX files, providing turn-by-turn directions on your phone or GPS device. GPX files will be available a few days before the event, after our final checks for road closures and obstructions.

For Tour de Broads 2026, we’ve crafted 5 exciting routes to offer something for every rider:

  • 100 Mile

  • 75 Mile

  • 50 Mile

  • 25 Mile

  • Family Route

100 Mile Route

Join hundreds of other cyclists on the 100 mile route. This route will offer you Broadland villages including Reedham, Stokesby, Kilby, Ranworth, Woodbastickwick, Coltishall and Barton Turf, plus it will will skirt the coast through the lighthouse village at Happisburgh and the stunning NT village at Horsey with it’s iconic Broadland windpump.    

This route is suitable to any bike as long as you are comfortable riding it for 100 miles. We introduce you to plenty of lanes, flowing B-roads as well as some faster link roads to help that all important average speed. We will support you every step of the way with FREE drink stops with lunch and home-made nibbles provided as well.

75 Mile Route

The 75 follows the 100 but without the coastal loop to Mundesley. You will still experience the best bits of Broadland and enjoy the villages and unique landscapes on offer. 

This route is suitable to any bike as long as you are comfortable riding it for 75 miles. We introduce you to plenty of lanes, flowing B-roads as well as some faster link roads to help that all important average speed. We will support you every step of the way with FREE drink stops with lunch and home-made nibbles provided as well.

50 Mile Route

The 50 route initially follows the 100 and 75 for around 10 miles and then skips around Acle to bypass the Reedham loop. We then rejoin the 100 and 75 for a few miles before introducing you to perhaps one of the most popular riverside Broads villages at Ludlum and  the quirky bridge at Potter Heigham (pronunced “Pottuh haam” by us locals!) before rejoining the longer routes near Horning.

This route is suitable to any bike as long as you are comfortable riding it for 50 miles. We introduce you to plenty of lanes, flowing B-roads as well as some faster link roads to help that all important average speed. We will support you every step of the way with FREE drink stops with home-made nibbles provided as well.

25 Mile Route

Your first big ride? Our 25 is designed for those wanting to get started or for those who want to take a leisurely all-day tour through Broadland to the absolutely beautiful riverfront at Reedham. On the return it is quiet lanes to Strumpshaw before returning to HQ. 

This route is suitable to any bike as long as you are comfortable riding it for 50 miles. We introduce you to plenty of lanes, flowing B-roads as well as some faster link roads to help that all important average speed. We will support you every step of the way with FREE drink stops with home-made nibbles provided as well.

Family Route

This route is designed for families to enjoy a big event over a family friendly distance! We endeavour to use non-traffic paths, trails and low-traffic byways to ensure it is an easy and stress-free day out for you and your family 😉 Entry is for up to 2 adults and up to 2 children with medals for everyone and some treats for the youngsters!

  • Elevation – 125ft
  • Start time – 11:00am – noon

FAQS

We have no age requirement to ride; however, all under-16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. 

AT ENTRY: Order confirmation email

3 WEEKS BEFORE EVENT: Event welcome and information email, plus WhatsApp group invitation.

1 WEEK BEFORE EVENT: Final instructions email (including final route, parking information and safety brief).

FINALS DAYS BEFORE: Final information, including last-minute road closures, weather information and announcements via WhatsApp.

Please check your spam folders if you do not receive your order confirmation, as you’ll likely also miss important event info too!

Please remain subscribed to our rider list to ensure you receive event and route updates.

We have multiple rider and mechanical support vehicles available to help you on the road – as well as first aiders at HQ. The emergency contact number will be on your souvenir rider number.

All riders get free drinks and snacks at all stops.

On longer routes, there is also an additional lunch stop. In addition to  the above;

Yes, eBikes are allowed and very welcome. Anything that gets you riding is great :) 

eBikes must conform to UK law on all TPR Events.

We do not provide charging points along the route, so make sure you’re economical with the range!

Yes, all types of bikes are encouraged on our events. 

We often have riders on tricycles, hand cycles and tandems!

We recommend that TT extensions are removed before our events due to safety concerns and the potential for liability in a group setting.
