Pedal Norfolk Untamed - TPR EVENTS

The Untamed offers a Gravel-Oriented event for our Pedal Suffolk Festival based at the Trinity Park Arena in Ipswich. Experience well-kept bridleways, gravel single track and quiet lanes as you weave through the Suffolk countryside and pass through beautiful villages.

The Untamed offers 25, 50 and 75 mile routes which may feel much longer if your a roadie coming to try a Gravel-Oriented event for the first time! Each route will be approximately 40% bridleway or unpaved tracks with quiet lanes (which on these roads can be equally as challenging!) making up the majority of the remainder. Each route is fully signposted, risk-assessed, and supported by the friendly TPR Events team.

The event is open to all riders of all abilities and ages. We encourage all types of bikes as well, with the ability to complete this ride on a Gravel, MTB, Hybrid or E-Bike. Longer routes include a complimentary lunch, and all riders enjoy free hydration and snack stations.

The Pedal Suffolk Sportive is part of the Pedal Suffolk Festival, a weekend of cycling celebration. Over 2 days, we will have something for everyone;

  • Pedal Suffolk Sportive (Road)
  • The Untamed (Gravel)
  • Pedal Retro (Pre-2000 classics)
  • Cycle Show & Jumble
  • Special guests & exhibitors
  • Evening social & cycling events

Routes

We have worked hard with our friends and partners at both Elmy Cycles and Twisted Oaks Bike Park to craft unforgettable routes for you to enjoy. Get the best of both worlds with quiet country roads and peaceful off-road trails. Visiting both Tunstall & Rendlesham Forests, there will be plenty of gorgeous off-road fun to be had. Also, our riders will get exclusive access to a new bespoke built off-road trail at Twisted Oaks Bike Park around the Brightwell Country Park.

Steve and the Elmy Cycles team will be supporting our riders with mechanical support on all rides across the weekend.

At TPR Events, we’re dedicated to creating the best routes for riders to enjoy. Every route is carefully plotted, analysed, risk-assessed, tested, and fully signposted, giving you the confidence to ride with peace of mind. Plus, all routes will be available to download as GPX files, providing turn-by-turn directions on your phone or GPS device. GPX files will be available a few days before the event, after our final checks for road closures and obstructions.

For The Untamed Suffolk, we will be launching 3 exciting routes to offer something for every rider:
