Back for 2026 for its 5th edition, by popular demand, The Untamed – Norfolk offers a Gravel-Oriented event for our Pedal Norfolk Festival set in the prestigious grounds of Holkham Hall. Experience the big open skies of Norfolk along quiet lanes and bridleways as you criss-cross North Norfolk and pass through beautiful villages.
The Untamed offers 25, 50 and 75 mile routes which may feel much longer if your a roadie coming to try a Gravel-Oriented event for the first time! Each route will be approximately 40% bridleway or unpaved tracks with quiet lanes (which on these roads can be equally as challenging!) making up the majority of the remainder. Each route is fully signposted, risk-assessed, and supported by the friendly TPR Events team.
The event is open to all riders of all abilities and ages. We encourage all types of bikes as well, with the ability to complete this ride on a Gravel, MTB, Hybrid or E-Bike. Longer routes include a complimentary lunch, and all riders enjoy free hydration and snack stations.
The Untamed – Norfolk is part of the Pedal Norfolk Festival, a weekend of cycling celebration. Over 2 days, we will have something for everyone;
- Pedal Norfolk Sportive (Road)
- The Untamed (Gravel)
- Cycle Show & Jumble

ROUTES
At TPR Events, we’re dedicated to creating the best routes for riders to enjoy. Every route is carefully plotted, analysed, risk-assessed, tested, and fully signposted, giving you the confidence to ride with peace of mind. Plus, all routes will be available to download as GPX files, providing turn-by-turn directions on your phone or GPS device. GPX files will be available a few days before the event, after our final checks for road closures and obstructions.
