Not every ride in Mallorca has to be a hill or mountain challenge! Our expert ride guides from Ciclos Major have extensive local knowledge and know the best roads and views to make every day a day to remember – for all the right reasons! Here is Darryl and Liz from Ciclos Major to explain more about our easier days:

Our bodies are not able to take the heavy punishment of massive climbing every day so in between those days there are some flatter rides on the island. A ride into the centre of the island can take us to a number of destinations such as Petra (130km and 1330m of climbing for the Espresso and Americano groups; 122km and 1124m of climbing for Cappuccino and 104km and 865m of climbing for the Café Latte group); Sineu, Binnisalem or Costitx. The rides to Sineu and Costitx have similar distances and metres of climbing.
The ride to Petra has an option not to ride to the Monastery at Bonany, reducing the distance by 10km and the climbing by 170m and increasing the length of the coffee/lunch stop by about 40 minutes. A visit to Sineu affords an opportunity to ride on the public velodrome with our road bikes. A few extra laps of the 333m circuit will not be too taxing.

These rides will expose you to the quieter roads and lanes that Mallorca has to offer, taking you through the potato and onion fields of Sa Pobla and the citrus fruit and almond tree orchards that Mallorca is famous for.

There are also the many animals bred on the island: pigs; goats; sheep, donkeys and the occasional herd of cows and the numerous birds that Mallorca is home to.
Regardless of your age and ability, we have a guided group for you. Every night the next day’s groups and rides are published so you can choose what is right for you.
